Teen, 16, Dies In Dirt Bike Crash In Springfield A 16-year-old boy was killed Wednesday night, Nov. 29, after they crashed their dirt bike in Springfield.  The crash happened around 8:15 p.m. in the 300 block of Plumtree Road when the rider hit a curb and a Department of Public Works sign, Springfield police said.  Paramedics rushed him to Baystate Medical Center, where he died of his injuries, police said.  The teen's name was not released because of his age.  Springfield police are investigating the crash.

17-Year-Old CT Girl Dies After Falling Out Of Moving Pickup Truck Connecticut State Police are investigating after a 17-year-old girl died after falling out of a moving pickup truck. The incident took place in Hartford County on Fairfield Drive in the town of Burlington on Sunday, around 1:25 a.m., Sunday, May 21. State police said the truck, a 2013 Chevy Silverado, was traveling in an unknown direction when Sophie Ringquist, of Burlington, the front seat passenger, fell out from the vehicle as it was moving. CT High School Student Killed In Crash A 15-year-old Connecticut high school student who was a police cadet was struck and killed while riding his bike. The crash happened around 3 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 20 in Hartford County, in the parking lot of a Mobile gas station in Berlin, at 2005 Berlin Turnpike. Police responded to the gas station for a report of a car striking a bicycle, said Berlin Chief of Police Matthew McNally. The victim, Chase Anderson, of Berlin, was transported to the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain where he was pronounced dead, police said. Police say the driver remained on the scene. Three Teenagers Killed, One Seriously Injured In New England Crash Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that claimed the lives of three teenagers overnight in Western Massachusetts. Just before 1 a.m. Sunday, June 26,  Massachusetts State Police patrols from the Sturbridge Barracks responded to the crash in the town of Brimfield in Hampden County in the the area of 40 East Brimfield-Holland Road. Responding troopers found a 2006 Nissan Sentra that had gone off the road and rolled over approximately 40 feet into the wood line, Massachusetts State Police said.
