Two older adults and a dog were killed in an early morning fire in Western Massachusetts this week, fire officials said. Springfield Fire responded to the fire at 126 East Street in Springfield around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, the Department of Fire Services (DFS) reports. Pedestrian On Highway Killed By Being Struck By Two Cars In Region, Police Say
Police are investigating after a man was fatally struck by two cars while walking on a highway in Western Massachusetts. Massachusetts State Police said troopers responded at about 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5, to I-291 westbound, near the 1.5-mile marker in Springfield.
