The single-car crash happened on the 700 block of Bay Street around 1:45 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, according to Public Information Officer Ryan Walsh on Twitter. At approximately 1:45 a.m. officers responded to a single car crash on the 700 block of Bay St. The vehicle went off the road crashing into the woods. One Killed In Crash Between Car, Motorcycle In Western Mass A motorcyclist was killed in a crash between a car and a motorcycle in Western Massachusetts. The crash took place around 8:10 p.m., Thursday, March 25, on Parker Street near Frederic Street in Springfield, said Springfield Police Spokesman Ryan Walsh. When officers arrived on the scene they found an adult male motorcycle rider who was transported to Baystate Medical Center where he died from his injuries, Walsh said. The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the SPD Traffic Unit investigation.
