Search And Rescue: Police Seek Lost Man At Height Of Winter Storm As snow poured down from the night sky, Enfield Police received a report of a man wandering, apparently lost in the woods. The call came in around 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 1 when a resident observed a familiar person walk through their yard and into the woods, police said. “They felt this was highly unusual, especially since it was 27 degrees out,” police said. The snow was falling in sheets by this point in the storm, which left about 8 inches in East Longmeadow overnight. Police began a search for the man by tracking his path in the snow down Bridge Lane.
