ID Released For Woman, 53, Killed In Western Mass Crash
Authorities have identified a 53-year-old woman who died in a two-car crash in Western Massachusetts over the weekend as Rebecca Whitehead of Winston-Salem, NC. The Franklin County crash happened in Ashfield at the intersection of Pleasant Street and Route 116 around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said. Western Massachusetts Woman, 36, Killed In Multi-Vehicle Crash
A 36-year-old woman has died from a multi-vehicle crash in Western Massachusetts last week, authorities said. Carmen Henriquez, of Springfield, died in the crash that happened at the intersection of Route 116 and Sunderland Road in Amherst around 8:45 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 19, the Northwest District Attorney's Office said. Initial investigation revealed Henriquez collided with two other vehicles that were going in the opposite direction as her. The impact caused her vehicle to roll over, the office reports. One Arrested, Search For Second Suspect Continues Following Western Mass Crash
Police are on the hunt in Western Massachusetts for a suspect after a vehicle failed to stop for police before crashing. The incident took place in Franklin County at around 3 p.m., Wednesday, July 21, when Ashfield Police attempted to stop the vehicle in the area of Route 116 and Cummington Road, State Police said.
