Massachusetts Man Allegedly Told Police To 'Watch Out' While Under Investigation
A Boston man is facing several charges for allegedly making threats against the Boston Police officers while he was under investigation for extortion, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said. The investigation began when Christopher Drayton, age 31, allegedly refused to return equipment to a former business associate unless they paid him up to $500 in return, the office reports. Reports Of Black Students Receiving Racist Emails Under Investigation At UMass
UMass Amherst is reporting an increase in racially motivated anti-Black incidents, according to a statement by the university’s vice-chancellor. In a message sent to students on Thursday, Sept. 23, Vice-Chancellor and Chief Diversity Officer Nefertiti Walker, said a racist email was sent to numerous Black-centered student groups on campus on Friday, Sept. 17.
