Massachusetts Named Best State To Live In (But Not The Cheapest), Study Says Massachusetts residents can sit comfy knowing that their state was ranked the best place to live by a new report.  A new study by WalletHub studied 51 factors that impact livability and compared the results for all 50 states and found that the Bay State won out over all others.  Massachusetts led the pack with a score of 61.67, narrowly beating out the second-place state, New Jersey, which scored 61.48. CT Woman Attacks Police, Threatens To Beat Up Bus Driver, Cops Say A Connecticut woman has been charged with assault on a police officer after threatening to beat up a state transit bus driver. New Haven County resident Alaja Dixon, age 21, of New Haven, was arrested on Sunday, June 4 in Milford. According to Milford Police, officers were dispatched to 1588 Boston Post Road for a disturbance on a CT Transit bus.  The bus driver told officers that Dixon came onto the bus and immediately became disruptive and threatened to beat up the driver, police said. Driver Who Allegedly Tried To Run Over Three People With A Bus Is Being Held Without Bail A Greenfield bus driver accused of trying to hit a man and two children with a public transit bus is being held without bail following a dangerousness hearing. Steven Connell, 38, of Gill, was ordered held without the right to bail during a Greenfield District Court hearing on July 8, according to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office. Connell is awaiting trial related to charges stemming from a June 4 incident in which he allegedly tried to hit three people - at least one of whom is black - with his bus by crashing it into a building.
