Firefighters in Berkshire County rushed into a burning home Monday morning, Sept. 18, to rescue two dogs who were trapped inside, authorities said. Fire Crews were called to 365 West Housatonic St. in Pittsfield just before 8:30 a.m. after multiple people called 911 to report smoke pouring from the home, the Pittsfield Department said. A shooting suspect is at large in Western Massachusetts after a 24-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound in an area residence, police said. In Berkshire County, first responders were dispatched to Congress Street in Pittsfield at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, where there was a report of a shooting in the area. Dog Killed In Western Mass House Fire
A family dog was killed during a house fire at a two-and-half story home in Western Massachusetts. The fire took place around 12:35 p.m., Thursday, July 29 in Berkshires County at 16 Atlantic Ave., in Pittsfield. Fire Breaks Out At Wendy's In Western Mass
A cleaning crew working at a Western Massachusetts Wendy’s restaurant accidentally started a fire at the eatery, officials said. Crews from the Pittsfield Fire Department responded to Wendy’s at 12:15 a.m. on Monday, June 28, where there was a fire reported in the kitchen of the Hubbard Avenue restaurant. Officials said that firefighters found a small fire in the kitchen that was quickly extinguished.
