Teen Hit, Killed By Tractor-Trailer Walking Along I-91 In Western Mass Police are investigating after a tractor-trailer hit and killed a 19-year-old man on Monday, July 29, in Hampshire County.  The teenager was walking on I-91 in Northampton near the southbound on-ramp of Damon Road/Bridge Street rotary just before 10 p.m. when he was struck, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said.  The man died at the scene. His name was not released as authorities notified his family.  The 56-year-old Canadian truck driver remained at the scene of the crash.  No charges have been filed, but state police are investigating the circumstance…

Chicopee Woman ID'd As Victim In Fatal CT Hit-Run Crash A 40-year-old Hampden County woman was identified as the victim of a fatal hit-and-run crash Wednesday night, June 19, in Hartford. The car that hit her was later found abandoned and on fire.  Lutricia Daniels, of Chicopee, was walking along Main Street at 11:55 p.m. when a Honda Accord slammed into her and sped away, Hartford police said. Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Hampden County A pedestrian was hospitalized in Western Massachusetts after being struck by a car while crossing a busy intersection. In Hampden County, members of the Monson Police Department responded to the intersection of High Street and Market Street at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 3, where there was a reported pedestrian strike. According to police, after being struck, the pedestrian was transported to the Baystate Medical Center for “serious injuries” that are not believed to be life-threatening. Pedestrian On Highway Killed By Being Struck By Two Cars In Region, Police Say Police are investigating after a man was fatally struck by two cars while walking on a highway in Western Massachusetts.  Massachusetts State Police said troopers responded at about 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5, to I-291 westbound, near the 1.5-mile marker in Springfield.
