Teen ID'd As Victim In Fatal Springfield Crash On I-91
Authorities in Hampden County have identified the victim of a fatal crash last week on I-91 as a 15-year-old boy. State police were called to the crash site around 4:30 p.m. near northbound Exit 5 on July 2, authorities said. Police and paramedics provided medical aid at the scene of the crash, state police said. It's unclear if the teenager died at the scene or a nearby hospital. The boy's name will not be released because of his age.

No Bail For Man Accused Of Killing Ryan Babcock In Western Mass
A 38-year-old Berkshire County man has been arrested and charged with the fatal shooting of Ryan Babcock on Tuesday, June 11, in Pittsfield, authorities said. Jeremy Stanton, of Pittsfield, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with murder, the Berkshire County District Attorney's Office said. Stanton pleaded not guilty, and a judge ordered him held without bail. Man Busted In Fatal Shooting In Springfield
A 62-year-old man has been charged with the fatal shooting over the weekend in Springfield, authorities said. Juan Rivera, of Springfield, was charged with murder in the Saturday, June 1, slaying, the Hampden District Attorney's Office said. Police were alerted to the fatal shooting just after 10:15 p.m. in the 400 block of Central Street after receiving a ShotSpotter alert. They arrived to find a man bleeding from a gunshot wound. A man was rushed to the hospital on Saturday morning, June 1, after a canister of acetylene exploded in a car trunk at a home in Worcester County, authorities said. The explosion was reported at 216 Brattle Street in Holden Saturday morning after the tank blew. Tanker Truck Crash Spills Hazardous Materials In Westborough
A tanker truck rolled over Thursday morning, Feb. 23, in Westborough, trapping the driver inside and spilling hazardous materials on the road. The crash happened at 50 Eli Whitney Street just after 11 a.m. Paramedics evaluated the driver, who declined to go to the hospital for minor injuries, Westborough firefighters said. Officials didn't say what spilled from the trucks — only classifying it as hazardous — but firefighters said drivers should avoid the area as they have closed the road while it is cleaned up.
