A Massachusetts Correction Officer is facing charges for allegedly smuggling drugs into the jail at which he worked, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office reports. Francisco Morales-Urizandi, of Tewksbury, is accused of supplying prisoners at Middlesex Jail and House of Correction with drugs between April and August 2020, the office reports. Brandeis University Student Killed, Dozens Injured In Waltham Shuttle Bus Crash
One student from Brandeis University is dead and dozens more are injured following a shuttle bus crash in Waltham over the weekend, authorities said. The bus was carrying 30 students when it crashed into a tree on South Street in Waltham around 10:32 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office reports. The inmate who brutally attacked a Massachusetts corrections officer at a Shirley prison last month has been officially charged, the Middlesex County District Attorney's office reports. Family friends have identified the 45-year-old father who was fatally stabbed while protecting his son at a playground in Everett as Mark Luiso, WCVB reports. Luiso was stabbed after getting into a fight near the Walter Morris Playground on Cherry Street around 10:22 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 8, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office reports. A father was reportedly stabbed to death while protecting his son during a late-night fight in Everett, WHDH reports. A 40-year-old man is accused of stabbing his wife to death at their Framingham home, the Middlesex County District Attorney's office said.
