Masked Robber Hits Longmeadow Bank: Report
There was a large police presence outside of Berkshire Bank in Longmeadow Monday afternoon as police investigate a robbery that happened around 11 a.m., police said. Police said a man walked into the Longmeadow Street bank and handed the teller a note that demanded cash. No one was hurt, Longmeadow police said. Administrators at Glenbrook Middle School in Longmeadow canceled classes on Friday, Jan. 27, after they received a threat against the school, MassLive reported. Duo Nabbed For Breaking, Entering Western Mass Home
Two men have been arrested for allegedly breaking into a Western Massachusets home with masks on. The Hampden County incident took place around 7:50 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24 in Longmeadow on Converse Street. According to the Longmeadow police, officers responded to the home for a report of two suspects breaking into the home. Police in Western Massachusetts are working to identify two women who are wanted in connection to a larceny case. The Longmeadow Police Department announced on Tuesday, Sept. 20, that it is investigating the case and released photos of the women police are trying to identify. Homeowners in Western Massachusetts are being advised to be on high alert after a suspicious man was caught on camera approaching a home and fleeing when approached by a homeowner. A police department has issued a warning after reports of several coyote sightings in a Western Massachusetts town. The Longmeadow Police Department in Hampden County said they have received an influx of calls regarding sightings, but remind residents they can't do anything about them unless they are posing a danger to residents or pets. Firearm Lookalike Seized From Teen In Western Mass
Police in Western Massachusetts seized an airsoft gun from a teenager that was intentionally modified to look like a real assault rifle. Officers from the Longmeadow Police Department received a report of multiple cars that had been driving through neighborhoods with no headlights on at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4. Several drivers were tracked down by officers, who fled the area, with one returning to the scene.
