Third Teen Dies In Hospital Days After Boston Rollover Crash: State Police
A passenger who was rushed to the hospital in grave condition after a rollover crash in Boston has died, authorities said. He was a 17-year-old from Roslindale, state police said. The crash happened on the northbound side of Morrisey Boulevard shortly after 3 a.m. on Jan. 4 near UMass-Boston. A California woman was sentenced to more than five years in prison for traveling across the country to deliver fentanyl right into the hands of an undercover DEA agent, authorities said. Adelaida Yudit Garibay, age 46, of Burbank, drove from California to Boston to deliver two kilograms of fentanyl in September 2021, the US Attorney's Office for Massachusetts reports. Drunk Boston Teenager Driving Scooter Wrong Way Strikes Police Cruiser
A 16-year-old from East Boston was arrested after he drove his scooter into a Boston Police cruiser while drunk, authorities said. The teenager was traveling the wrong down Helen Street onto Bernard Street in Dorchester when he struck the cruiser just before 3 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, Boston Police said. In addition, a 16-year-old passenger from Jamaica Plain fled the scene on foot. Police recovered a 9mm Beretta APX firearm with an obliterated serial number as he flew, police said.
