Authorities are investigating after a man was shot and killed in Springfield in the early morning hours of Monday, Jan. 23. Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 200 block of Main Street in Indian Orchard just after 2 a.m., Public Information Officer for Springfield Police Ryan Walsh said on Twitter. Tires Slashed On 45 Vehicles At Company In Western Mass
Police are investigating after tires were slashed on 45 vans of a Western Massachusetts company that provides services to the handicapped and those in need of rides to doctor appointments and medical treatments. The incident took place in Springfield at Indian Orchard at Youth on the Move early Monday, May 16, said Ryan Walsh, of the Springfield Police. Body Of Missing Western Mass Man Found In River, Police Say
The body of a missing man has been recovered from a river in Western Mass. The discovery took place around 6:45 p.m., Saturday, May 15, when Springfield Police responded to Indian Orchard for a report of a missing adult male, said Ryan Walsh, spokesman for the Springfield PD. The man's body was located and recovered from the Chicopee River in Springfield, Walsh said. "Detectives will conduct an unattended death investigation," Walsh said. The medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death, he added.
