A father and son face a mountain of felonies after police found an illegal gun, more than 100 grams of cocaine, and several other drugs inside their Worcester County home, authorities said.
Michael Pitler, age 45, and Zachary Pitler, age 21, both of Blackstone, were arrested on Friday, Feb. 16, after police and federal agents raided their home in the area of Michelle Lane, officials said.

Springfield Police Officer Busted On Drugs, Gun Charges
A Springfield police officer was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 13, after an early morning raid on a home in the city, authorities said.
Miranda Caldwell, 26, who has been with the department since 2021, was charged with several felonies following the bust, Springfield police said. Anthony Tavernier, 24, was also arrested.
Officers raided the home in the 300 block of Nottingham St. just before 7 a.m. and seized an illegal firearm, 10 bags of heroin, 10 grams of cocaine, and 100 grams of marijuana, police said.

A man accused of crashing his car while driving drunk kept an illegally modified loaded pistol in his car, despite not having his license, police said.
Miguel Cruz-Ramos, 23, of Worcester, is facing 10 charges following his arrest in the early morning of July 24, Massachusetts State Police said.

Attempted Murder: Western Mass Police Bust Man Wanted In Vermont With Drugs, Gun
A man caught on a doorbell camera shootout was arrested in Hampden County over the holiday weekend on attempted murder charges in Vermont, authorities said.
Springfield police were called to Franklin Street around 5 p.m. on Monday, May 29, for a routine gun call. But when officers arrived, they said they found a loaded pistol, more than $5,000 in cash, cocaine, and marijuana, Springfield police said.
They also learned that one of the people the suspects had several outstanding warrants in Vermont, including trying to kill someone in Bennington in September.

Police in Western Massachusetts raided three locations earlier this week and seized several guns, body armor, drugs, and nearly $30,000 in cash, authorities said.
Springfield officers executed three search warrants on Tuesday, April 18, just before 3 p.m. at “The Smoking Pot” on Bridge Street, an apartment at the Overland Lofts in the 100 block of Chestnut Street, and an apartment in the 0-100 block of Lombard Street, officials said.

Two Western Mass Men Nabbed With Weapons, 'Ghost Gun,' Police Say
Two Western Massachusetts men were arrested for alleged possession of weapons, including a "ghost gun."
The two were busted around 3:45 p.m., Thursday, July 15, in Hampden County, when members of the Springfield Police Department, along with other law enforcement officials, served a warrant at the home of John Cortez.
The warrant was the result of an investigation into illegal firearms, with Cortez, of Springfield, as the target, said Ryan Walsh, spokesman for the Springfield Police.

After a chase and a rollover crash, police in Connecticut arrested a man wanted in connection with a shooting that left one dead and one injured.

A wanted man with multiple warrants out for his arrest was busted by Massachusetts State troopers with multiple illegal firearms during an early morning traffic stop, officials announced.
