Original: Police have issued a silver alert for a missing elderly Northbridge man after he wandered away from his home Thursday morning, Aug. 31. Mass Man, 77, Dies After Van Crashes Into New Hampshire Bridge: Police
A 77-year-old man from Massachusetts was killed after his van crashed into part of a bridge in New Hampshire this week, according to authorities. New Hampshire State Troopers responded to the crash on I-95 North in Seabrook around 8:11 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20, the department said on Facebook. It was reported that a white van had struck a bridge abutment and was smoking, police said. Bed Bath & Beyond this week raised the number of stores it plans to close across Massachusetts from seven to at least 12. The retailer said it is struggling with debt obligations and will shutter some of its least profitable stores. A woman from central Massachusetts was charged with unlawfully transporting several illegal immigrants, the US Attorney's Office for Vermont reports. Several people were seen walking south from the Highgate Springs Port of Entry on the US-Canada border in Vermont just after 1 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16, the office reports. In the Central and Western areas of Massachusetts as well as the Berkshires, the place that received the most snow appears to be North Granby with 2.2 inches and Noth Adams with 2.4 inches. According to the most recent state data, Wednesday, Oct. 7, there are about a dozen “high-risk” or “red” communities in the second half of Massachusetts.
