Masked Robber Hits Longmeadow Bank: Report
There was a large police presence outside of Berkshire Bank in Longmeadow Monday afternoon as police investigate a robbery that happened around 11 a.m., police said. Police said a man walked into the Longmeadow Street bank and handed the teller a note that demanded cash. No one was hurt, Longmeadow police said. A robbery suspect is wanted in Connecticut after forcing officers into a parked car and striking a police cruiser while fleeing the scene of an investigation. Officers in Hartford County from the Enfield Police Department were called to an area business at approximately 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 26, where there was a report of a larceny in progress. Teen Trio Nabbed Breaking Into Vehicles In Western Mass, Police Say
Three Western Mass teens were arrested for allegedly breaking into a parked vehicle and then fleeing in stolen cars. The incident took place around 1 a.m., Tuesday, June 8, when Ludlow Police officers responded to the area of Walnut and Oak streets for a report of a motor vehicle break-in and vandalism, said Ludlow Police Chief Daniel Valadas. Baby Was Inside Idling Car Stolen From CT Gas Station; Suspect At-Large
A baby was abducted when a man allegedly jumped into an idling car outside of a gas station and drove off in the vehicle. The woman caring for the baby was inside the gas station/convenience store at the time, dealing with a credit card issue, Hamden Police said.
