Four Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle I-84 Crash, CT State Police Say
Four people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash on I-84 in Connecticut. The crash happened at about 1:50 a.m. on Sunday, March 13, on I-84 Westbound near Entrance 56 ramp in East Hartford, according to Connecticut State Police. While traveling at a high rate of speed, a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport struck a 2002 Toyota Carolla from behind, police said. Auto Shop Owner Admits To Running Mountains Of Drugs From Texas To Mass.
The owner of a local auto shop has pleaded guilty to allegations that he intended to distribute a mountain of heroin and cocaine in Massachusetts. On Friday, Feb. 26, Javier Gonzalez, 52, and owner of TWC Auto Body on Jackson Street in Holyoke, pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute more than 1 kilogram of heroin and 5 kilograms of cocaine, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts, said. 19: MA Kidnapper, Sex Trafficker, Bank Robber Get Early Prison Release Due To Pandemic
A convicted kidnapper, sex trafficker, and two bank robbers are among the criminals who have been released from Massachusetts prisons early due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So far, 419 motions for release have been filed in Massachusetts by convicts as well as people awaiting trial. Of those requests 88 have been granted, 219 have been denied, and 96 are pending, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
