Man Turns Self In For Hit-Run That Killed 46-Year-Old Southeast Mass Woman A 33-year-old man from Brockton has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of a 46-year-old woman earlier this week, according to authorities. Juan Leonardo Parra Altamirano turned himself into authorities for the crash that happened on Route 24 North in West Bridgewater on Monday, April 4, Massachusetts State Police report. Parra Altamirano is facing several charges including leaving the scene of a crash that caused personal injury resulting in death. He is due in Brockton District Court Thursday afternoon. ID Released For Fairfield County Man Struck, Killed In Hit-Run Crash Police in Connecticut have identified a Fairfield County man who was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash. John W. Capodanno, age 64, of Bethel, was killed around 9:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 6 in Litchfield County in the area of 177 Danbury Road in New Milford. According to New Milford Police, Capodanno was crossing the street when he was struck and killed by a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Maria Bosch, age 41, of New Milford. Bosch, who was not injured, fled the scene but her vehicle was found at a nearby apartment complex, police said. She is cooperating with the police, officials…

Hit-Run Crash Under Investigation In Chicopee One person was injured during a hit-and-run crash in Western Massachusetts. The incident took place around 3:30 p.m., Tuesday,  Feb. 1, on Exchange Street in Chicopee, according to 22 News. The news channel reported a vehicle hit a parked car and then left the area. Police told the news channel the vehicle, with the driver and passenger inside, were caught a short distance away. One of the suspects was taken to the hospital with injuries but the injuries are said to be minor. The crash is under investigation. Man Charged After Walking Away From Hit-Run Crash In Region, Police Say A Western Massachusetts man who had been arrested the day before on drug charges was apprehended again by the same police department for an alleged hit-and-run crash the next day. Hampden County resident Kornstatin Gladysh, age 24, of Westfield, was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 21 after East Longmeadow Police responded to a report of a crash.
