Students waiting at a bus stop in Worcester County were smart enough not to fall for a man's trick to get them in his car, but police are asking for the public's help to find him before he tries it again. The man approached several kids in the Shrewsbury Commons Wednesday morning, March 15, and said their parents had called an Uber to take them to school, the Shrewsbury Police Department said. Connecticut State Police are attempting to locate a man who abandoned an infant on the roof of a stranger's parked car before taking off. Connecticut residents are being cautioned to be on high alert for an “armed and dangerous” suspect following an incident at a local orchard, officials announced. A large police presence was reported in Hartford County, in the Town of Southington, as investigators seek the public’s assistance in locating the suspect last seen in the area of Rogers Orchards.
