A new round of storms with gusty winds will sweep through the region leading into the July 4th holiday. A system moving up the East Coast is most likely to affect this region late Monday afternoon, July 3 into the evening. New projected snowfall totals have increased for a winter storm that is threatening to make for a potentially hazardous morning commute. The time frame for the storm is overnight Thursday, Jan. 6, into Friday, Jan. 7.
