A man faces charges after weapons were found in his carry-on bag at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, according to authorities.
Just after 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, Connecticut State Police troopers responded to the airport's TSA Security checkpoint for a report of an individual transporting a possible firearm in their carry-on luggage.

A 19-year-old Connecticut man was nabbed with alleged crack cocaine and a firearm during a traffic stop.
The incident took place in Hartford on Barker St., on Thursday, Nov. 17.
Detectives from the Connecticut State Police and the Hartford Police Department were conducting a narcotics interdiction operation in the Hartford area when Jonas Efer Deaza-Escobar, of Hartford, was stopped for multiple traffic violations, said the state police.

A 24-year-old man who brazenly left a Connecticut courthouse in the middle of a proceeding has been apprehended.
Marico Ellis, age 24, went missing from Hartford Superior Court just after noontime on Thursday, Aug. 25, wearing a black shirt and pants, according to Connecticut State Police.
The underlying charges for which Ellis was at court for include firearms, narcotics, and felony assault violations.
Ellis, a resident of Hartford, was not wearing shoes at the time, police said.

A fired bartender is seeking more than $15,000 in damages and lost wages after attempting to serve a beer in a white KKK-type hood to two patrons.
On Tuesday, Dec. 1, Nathan Thaller, of South Windsor, filed a lawsuit in Hartford Superior Court against World of Beer in West Hartford (WOB, LLC) claiming that the firing was a violation of his free speech.
