One Killed In Western Mass Crash
One person was killed during a single-vehicle crash in Western Mass. It happened in Hampshire County around 5 p.m. Monday, May 2 in Belchertown. When officers responded to the scene at 606 North Washington St., the driver, the only occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene, said the Belchertown Police. The identity of the victim is not being disclosed at this time. The crash is under investigation by the Belchertown Police, the state police, and the Northwestern District Attorney's Office. Duo Nabbed With Multiple Ghost Guns During Stop At Western Mass Intersection
A Massachusetts State Police trooper on patrol during a distracted driving enforcement campaign in Hampshire County busted a pair who were found to be in possession of “ghost guns” and ammunition after being busted driving with a cellphone. An investigation into rare “Kerry” cattle in Western Massachusetts led to a host of charges for a woman accused of animal cruelty. A Western Massachusetts man who died in a single-car crash has been identified by police. Hampden County resident Gabriel Morales, 25, of Springfield, was killed around 2 a.m., Thursday, March 24 in Hampshire County in Hadley, said Laurie Loisel, spokeswoman for the Northwestern District Attorney's Office. A Western Massachusetts man was killed when his vehicle left the road striking a tree, officials said. The crash occurred in Hampshire County shortly before 2 a.m. Thursday, March 24 in Hadley. A store was able to remain open after a car hit the front of the building in Western Massachusetts. Three people were hospitalized after a car crash in Western Massachusetts involving a school van. The crash took place Monday, Feb. 14, in Hampshire County in South Hadley, reported 22News WWLP in Springfield. A man has gone missing in the region and authorities are asking the public's help in locating him. The Massachusetts State Police and Huntington Police Department are attempting to locate Hampshire County resident Robert Sherman, age 79, of Chesterfield, who last last seen in Hampden County on Monday, Feb. 7 around 9:30 a.m., in Westfield.
