A Massachusetts man from the Boston Area is accused of coercing several women who struggled with drug addiction into his sex trafficking operation, according to federal officials. A grand jury returned an indictment charging Trevor Jones, of Everett, with sex trafficking four female victims, United States Attorney Rachael S. Rollins said in a release dated Tuesday, May 2. Greater Boston Area Man Indicted For Child Porn Offense
A Greater Boston-area man will be in federal court in Boston after he was charged with receiving child pornography, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Massachusetts said. Matthew Ormon, age 50, of Quincy, is facing a minimum sentence of five years and a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison for one count of receiving child pornography, the office reports. A Massachusetts man with a lengthy rap sheet is facing more time in prison after being busted for an alleged bank robbery in Cambridge, federal prosecutors announced. Boston resident Jamaal Copeland, age 49, was indicted by a federal grand jury in connection to the robbery of a TD bank branch in the region. Prosecutors said that Copeland was charged with one count of bank robbery and will appear in federal court in Boston at a later date after being charged in a criminal complaint in May. A former member of the Latin Kings street gang has been sentenced after being busted illegally possessing a weapon while on supervised release for a previous drug conviction. Hector Adorno - also known as “King Gordo,” age 36, a former member of the Springfield Chapter of the Massachusetts Almighty Latin King and Queen Nation in Worcester County was sentenced in federal court in Boston to five years in prison and three years of supervised release on a firearm offense.
