A 42-year-old man is accused of crashing a stolen car into a family, killing a 10-year-old boy, and sending several others to the hospital in Norfolk County this weekend, authorities said. A Berkshire County father of two young children was identified as the victim of a fatal train strike Tuesday morning, July 30, authorities said. Douglas Hawley, age 40, of North Adams, was killed just before 11:30 a.m. after being hit by the train in North Adams, the Berkshire County District Attorney's Office said. Investigators said he was hit between the American Legion and the Brien Center, both on American Legion Drive in North Adams. A Hampshire County man was drunk when he crashed into a vehicle in Chicopee, killing the driver and injuring the passenger, authorities said in an update. Andrew Wilkins, 37, of South Hadley, was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, Chicopee police said on Tuesday, July 30. A 20-year-old was killed after a car crashed into a tree in Connecticut. It happened around 9:50 a.m. Sunday, April 28 in Tolland County. A 2019 Ford Mustang was traveling in a southerly direction on West Street in the town of Hebron at a high rate of speed, Connecticut State Police say. State fire officials have identified the woman who was killed in a Franklin County fire as a 65-year-old Orange woman, authorities said. Debra Marini died several hours after she was seriously burned last week in a blaze at 99 West River Street in Orange, the State Fire Marshal's Office said on Tuesday. Authorities have identified the 21-year-old man who died after he fell from a pick-up truck in Worcester County over the weekend, authorities said. Dan Cleary, of Charlton, fell from a Ford truck around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17, on Stafford Street, the Worcester County District Attorney said. He was a passenger. Motorist Killed After Crashing Into Utility Pole In Springfield
One person is dead following an early morning crash in Hampden County. The crash took place around 2;10 a.m., Friday, March 19 in the 1300 block of Allen Street in Springfield.
