Body Of Missing Mass. Teen Pulled From Walden Pond
The body of a teenager pulled from Walden Pond on Tuesday morning, July 30, is believed to belong to a 17-year-old who went missing last week, authorities said. Brian Lopez, of Lynn, who was a rising senior at Lynn Classical High School, was reported missing on Friday. Police had marshaled an aggressive campaign to find him, but all early indications point to the body belonging to Lopez, the Essex County District Attorney's Office said. The MSPCA is asking for help after the group took in 60 boxers from a home in Essex County earlier this week, making it one of the largest seizures in the group's history. A man has been arrested after he allegedly bit an officer during a skirmish at a Long Island hospital, police claimed. Essex County, Massachusetts resident Anthony C. Gomez, age 21 of Lawrence, was admitted as a patient into East Meadow’s Nassau Univesity Medical Center on Wednesday, Feb. 28, according to Nassau County Police. A 26-year-old Massachusetts man was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Route 495. The crash occurred in Middlesex County around 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15, at mile marker 84 in Westford.
