Man Stabbed During Western Mass Fight; Police Ask For Info
Police in Berkshire County say that a 29-year-old man was stabbed over the weekend during a fight in Pittsfield. Police were called to Boylston Street around 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, to reports of a fight, Pittsfield police said. They found a 29-year-old suffering from a stab wound and took him to Berkshire Medical Center. He was last listed in stable condition, police said. The man's name was not released. 1-Year-Old CT Boy Killed By Family Dogs
A 1-year-old Connecticut boy died after being attacked by two family dogs. The incident took place in East Hartford in a home on Fuller Avenue around 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 13. According to East Hartford Police Officer Marc Caruso, officers responded to the home where they found the boy had been bitten several times by a dog. The police and fire department personnel on the scene performed lifesaving measures, and the child was transported to the hospital by ASM, Caruso said. The boy later died at the hospital, he added. The incident took place in Hartford around 3:15 p.m., Monday, Oct. 3, in the area of 1429 Park St. According to Lt. Connecticut State troopers helped rescue a limousine driver who suffered a medical event on I-91. Authorities received a report from one of the vehicle's passengers that the driver had experienced a medical event and was unconscious at about 6:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 4, State Police said.
