31-Year-Old Charged After Half-Kilo Of Cocaine Seized On Taconic Parkway A 31-year-old man was allegedly nabbed with a half-kilo of cocaine during a traffic stop in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 2 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11 on the Taconic Parkway in East Fishkill when New York State Police stopped the driver for traffic violations. Berkshire County, Massachusetts resident Brandon M. Green, age 31, of Pittsfield, was stopped in a 2020 Toyota sedan, said Trooper AJ Hicks. During the stop, troopers found that Green was driving while ability impaired by drugs and during a search of the vehicle uncovered a half-kilogram of cocaine…

Traffic Stop Of BMW On Taconic Parkway Leads To Felony Drug Charge A 43-year-old Massachusetts man was nabbed for alleged possession of drugs during a traffic stop in New York. Berkshire County resident Jahart Moore, of North Adams, was arrested around 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, said Trooper AJ Hicks. According to Hicks, troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2014 BMW 335I for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law on the Taconic State Parkway in Dutchess, in the town of East Fishkill.  An investigation discovered Moore was in possession of approximately 155.6 grams of cocaine, Hicks said. Man Charged In Hit-Run Crash With NY State Police Cruiser On I-84 In Putnam County The driver of a tractor-trailer that struck and damaged a New York State Police cruiser on Interstate 84 before fleeing the scene has been apprehended, authorities said. At approximately 11:45 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 21, a state trooper on patrol from the East Fishkill barracks was monitoring traffic on a stretch of the roadway in Putnam County in the Town of Kent when the tractor-trailer struck the cruiser and fled the scene.
