Naughty List: 8 Santas Busted During NJ SantaCon Over Fights, Crashes, Chaos Some people attending SantaCon 2024 in Hoboken, including several from out of state, couldn't help but end up on the naughty list. Hoboken police said eight people were arrested at the annual event on Saturday, Dec. 21, where people dress up as Santa Claus for a bar crawl, a spinoff of the popular event held every year in New York City (scroll down for details).  Overall, police issued 16 traffic summonses, dealt with 13 fights, and responded to three motor vehicle crashes, police said. CT State Troopers Smash Allegedly Drunk Driver’s Window Connecticut State Police had to smash a window and use a taser on a 24-year-old man before charging him with alleged drunk driving.  The incident occurred in Middlesex County around 2:30 a.m., Saturday, June 22, on 1-91 northbound in Middletown between the rest area and Exit 20.  According to State Police, troopers found a black GMC Sierra pickup with a Massachusetts license plate parked in the right climbing lane and several damaged DOT traffic cones.  The truck's engine was running, and the driver was slumped over the steering wheel, state police said. CT Town Employee Caught Placing Fecal Matter Under Town Hall Door, Police Say A Connecticut man has been charged with breach of peace and criminal mischief after allegedly placing fecal matter under a door at a town hall. Litchfield County resident Christopher Jordano, age 40, of North Canaan was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 6, for the incident that took place in July at the North Canaan Town Hall. According to Connecticut State Police, Jordano allegedly entered the Town Hall building and placed what appeared to be fecal matter underneath a secured office door.  A Town Hall employee, Jordano was captured by security cameras on the premises, state police said. …
