The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is encouraging schools and school districts to reopen safely and has just released new guidance for doing just that. 19: CT School Closes After Employee Tests Positive
An elementary school in Connecticut will be closed for several days after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19. Somers Schools Superintendent Brian Czapla announced this week that the elementary school will be closed on Wednesday, Sept. 9, and Thursday, Sept. 10 after a staff member that works with pre-K students tested positive for the virus.
