Police are searching for a woman who they say assaulted a grocery delivery man in Boston. The incident happened on Friday, Feb. 9 in Roxbury, according to the Boston Police Department. At approximately 6:50 p.m. that day, a man was delivering groceries in the area of Dale Street when the unknown woman struck. Police said the woman threw both a stapler and a phone at the delivery man’s head before leaving the scene. The agency responsible for policing standards has suspended a man who was an officer in Connecticut and Massachusetts and who lives in Massachusetts after he was charged with illegally receiving nearly $87,000 in workers' compensation benefits while working in Connecticut. Matthew Hubbard, age 55, of Agawam in Hampden County, was one of four officers suspended by Massachusetts Peace Officer Standards and Training. The FBI and Boston police said a New Jersey attorney is behind a string of rapes and kidnappings in Boston more than 15 years ago, officials said. Officials arrested the Weehawken man on Tuesday, May 30. Matthew Nilo, 35, is charged with three counts of aggravated rape, two counts of kidnapping, one charge of intent to rape, and one account of indecent assault and battery, the Boston Police Department announced. Authorities are investigating two deaths on Carson Beach after police found two bodies at different times at the South Boston spot.
