An Amber Alert has been canceled after two young children who were abducted have been found safe and their father was taken into custody after the suspicious death of their mother. A Chelmsford police sergeant was rescued over the weekend after he suffered a medical issue while hiking in the New Hampshire mountains, authorities said. Weather grounded rescue choppers and forced crews to walk five miles into the woods to find and carry him to safety. Sgt. Massachusetts Father Dies While Hiking Mount Washington On Father's Day
An Andover man who was hiking a trail in the White Mountains on Father's Day has died from his injuries sustained from suffering severe hypothermia. Xi Chen, age 53, was attempting a Presidential Traverse off Gulfside Trail near Mt. Clay when he was "overcome with severe weather conditions," New Hampshire Fish & Game said on Facebook.
