Body Pulled From Western Mass Pond ID'd As Missing 22-Year-Old
Police believe the body pulled from a Hampshire County lake belongs to a 22-year-old man who has been missing several days, authorities said. Rodney Yankson, of Easthampton, was reported missing on Tuesday, Aug. 13, and was found on Friday afternoon at Lower Mill Pond in Easthampton, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said. A father and his son who were going fishing found the body. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the man's ID and the cause of death. Body Of Missing Mass. Teen Pulled From Walden Pond
The body of a teenager pulled from Walden Pond on Tuesday morning, July 30, is believed to belong to a 17-year-old who went missing last week, authorities said. Brian Lopez, of Lynn, who was a rising senior at Lynn Classical High School, was reported missing on Friday. Police had marshaled an aggressive campaign to find him, but all early indications point to the body belonging to Lopez, the Essex County District Attorney's Office said. Update: Chicopee police say they have found Brenda Pike. Original: Chicopee police are asking for the public's help in finding a woman who has been missing since Thursday, July 4. Brenda Pike, 62, was last seen leaving a home in Chicopee and hasn't been spotted since. She is believed to be driving a red 2008 Chrysler Town and Country van with the Connecticut license plate BN30439. Anyone who spots Pike or her van should immediately contact Chicopee detectives at 413-594-1740.

Missing Mass 1-Year-Old Found Safe In Alabama After Mom Kidnaps Him: Police
A missing Massachusetts baby was found safe in Alabama after the boy's mother ran away with the child, authorities said. The baby went missing on the morning of Thursday, June 20, from Fall River. Genezza Packett, the boy's mother had told the child's aunt, who has custody of the child, that she wanted to take her son to a local Dunkin' and would return to the apartment immediately after, State Police said.
