CT Man Caught After Dragging Trooper 20 Feet In Motorcycle Escape: Police A Connecticut motorcyclist who police say dragged a state trooper 20 feet during an attempted escape from a traffic stop sending the officer to the hospital has been arrested after a months-long investigation. Kelvin Miranda, 23, of East Hartford, was arrested last week, four months after a dramatic incident in Mansfield, Connecticut State Police said. A trooper patrolling Routes 195 and 275 around 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 10 heard motorcycles revving their engines and went to investigate. Fatal Crash: 38-Year-Old Found By Guardrail With Leg Injury In CT A bicyclist died in the hospital after being found injured next to a guardrail following a crash in Connecticut, police announced.  The events leading to the man's death began in Tolland County on Sunday, July 21 around 1 p.m., when a passerby saw an unattended bicycle against a guardrail at 667 Wall St. (Route 316) in Hebron.  According to Connecticut State Police, the passerby then saw a man next to the guardrail almost into the woods with a severe leg injury.
