A 28-year-old Connecticut man has been charged with killing a 32-year-old mother of 2 in a Windsor crash in 2023, authorities said. Luis Maldonado, of Windsor, has been charged with negligent homicide and failure to drive in a proper lane, Connecticut State Police said. Maldonado is accused of killing Yashiramarie Santiago when he lost control of his silver Honda on Route 20 near Bradley International Airport in December 2023. Driver Charged In Crash That Killed Teenage Motorcyclist
A Connecticut man who crashed into a teenager earlier this year in Fairfield County has been charged with his death, authorities announced on Friday, Oct. 25. Hector Rolando Lemus-Portillo, of Stamford, is charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle and failure to yield while turning left, police said. Because of their age, the 17-year-old was not identified. Police said Lemus-Portillo was driving south on Lockwood Avenue in Stamford around 9:15 p.m. on May 17. Suspect Nabbed After Woman Driving SUV Killed In Hit-Run CT Crash With Minivan
A Connecticut man allegedly involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a 23-year-old woman has been captured by police and charged with negligent homicide. The incident occurred in Hartford around 6:10 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 11, at the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Adelaide Street. Sgt. Chris Mastroianni of the Hartford Police said Middlesex County resident Tonyque Davis, of the town of Portland, was driving a Jeep SUV when she was hit by a Toyota minivan that fled the scene.
