Drunk Wrong-Way Driver Causes Pile-Up On I-95 In CT: Police A woman who Connecticut Police say caused a five-car pile-up on I-95 earlier this week was intoxicated when she got onto the interstate going the wrong direction. The Fairfield County crash happened just before 3 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, when New York City resident Jacqueline Remache, age 29, of the Bronx, got onto I-95 in Stamford going the wrong way, authorities said.  She then pinballed against four other vehicles before finally stopping near Exit 9. Norwalk Woman Busted For Alleged DUI In Wilton, Police Say A Fairfield County woman driving a 2020 Porsche Cayenne was busted for alleged DUI during a routine traffic stop. Monica Duchhi, age 36, of Norwalk, was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 11, on Danbury Road in Wilton. According to Lt. Anna Tornello of the Wilton Police said Duchhi failed a series of field sobriety tests after admitting to officers she had been drinking. Duchi was placed under arrest for DUI and refused to submit to chemical testing, Tornello said. She was charged with DUI and failure to drive in the proper lane. Florida Man Nabbed In CT For Drunk Driving, Police Say An out-of-state man is facing a charge of drunk driving after he allegedly blew through a stop sign on a Connecticut road. The Fairfield County incident happened on Tuesday, June 18 in the town of New Canaan. Just after midnight, 40-year-old Carlos Manuel Fernandez was driving north on White Oak Shade Road when he reportedly accelerated through a stop sign near the intersection at Gerdes Road.
