New Update: Here's Latest Rundown Of Power Outages In Fairfield County
The most dangerous wind gusts that accompanied a cold front that is moving through the region have passed, but thousands remain without power in Connecticut.
As of around 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, Eversource is reporting around 3,500 outages statewide, with United Illuminating reporting around 55 outages in its service territory.
These municipalities are reporting the most outages:

Fairfield County Investment Advisor Failed To Report $1.4M In Profits To IRS, Feds Say
An investment advisor from Fairfield County is being accused of failing to report more than $1.4 million in profits to the IRS, federal authorities announced.
Thomas Pacilio, age 64, of Westport, waived his right to be indicted and pleaded guilty on Thursday, Jan. 5 to a federal tax offense, Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, and Joleen D. Simpson, Special Agent in Charge of IRS Criminal Investigation in New England, said.

Fairfield County Man Charged With Enticing Minor For Sex, Police Say
A Fairfield County man has been charged with enticing a minor with computer service for sex after meeting with three people, including a 14-year-old online at a parking lot.
The incident took place in Westport in Feb. 2022 in the parking lot at 397 Post Road East.
On Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, Westport Police were notified of a YouTube video showing four people recording in the parking lot of 397 Post Rd East. Fairfield County Man, 76, Charged With Possession Of Child Porn, Police Say
A 76-year-old Fairfield County man has been charged with allegedly possessing child pornography.
John Minehan of Westport turned himself in to the police on Monday, Nov. 28, following an investigation into a cyber tip, said Lt. Eric Woods, of the Westport Police.
According to Woods, on Monday, Aug. 15, Westport Police initiated an investigation into the possession of suspected child pornography by a resident after receiving a cyber tip from National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Missing Hudson Valley Woman Found By CT State Police
A missing Hudson Valley woman has been found by the Connecticut State Police.
Putnam County resident Catherine Tully, age 83, of Patterson, was reported missing by Westport Police in Connecticut on Monday, Nov. 14, after her car was tracked at one point to the Weston Road area of the city, said Lt. Jillian Cabana, of the Westport Police.
Family members responded to Westport when Tully failed to return home to New York after she left her around 2 p.m., and was tracked to Westport, Cabana said.
