Brand-New Forecast Has Henri Tracking Farther West, Enhancing Potential Risk For Region A brand-new projected track for Tropical Storm Henri has shifted it even farther to the west, enhancing the risk of power outages and flashing flooding for the region. The latest models were released Friday afternoon, Aug. 20 by the National Weather Service NOAA National Hurricane Center. If it strengthens to hurricane status as expected, Henri could be the first hurricane to make landfall in New England since Bob in 1991. Uber Rider From Westchester Becomes Violent With Driver, Police Say An area man was arrested after forcing an Uber driver to take him to New York when he allegedly became physically violent in Fairfield County. Westchester resident, Christopher Doherty, age 57, of Larchmont, turned himself in to police on Thursday, Aug. 12, for the incident which took place on Friday, July 30 in Darien, authorities said. The complainant, a driver for Uber, reported that he had responded to a Darien address earlier in the evening to pick up a fare, according to police.
