A Connecticut woman is accused of allegedly running over a kitten on purpose after she dumped a cat and the kitten in a busy shopping center parking lot, police say. Hartford County resident Ana Rodriguez, age 65, of New Britain, turned herself in to Southington Police on Friday, May 3, for the Monday, April 15 incident. According to Lt. A nationwide recall has been issued for ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli. Cargill Meat Solutions, headquartered in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, is recalling approximately 16,240 pounds of the raw ground beef products, the US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced on Wednesday, May 1. CT Man Found Dead In Car In Walmart Parking Lot
A 30-year-old man was found dead in a vehicle in the parking lot of a Connecticut Walmart. The incident occurred in New London County on Monday, April 1 at the Walmart at 155 Waterford Parkway North in Waterford. According to Chief Marc Balestracci, of the Waterford Police Department, the department responded after receiving 911 calls regarding the unresponsive man. A Connecticut man was allegedly nabbed with weapons and drugs after police were called to a store for a shopper acting suspiciously. Fairfield County resident Oscar Rosado-Nazario, age 40, of Bridgeport, was charged on Wednesday, Jan. 17 in New Haven County in the Walmart parking lot in Milford. Authorities in Connecticut are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects accused of stealing several breast pumps worth over $2,000 from a Walmart.
