NASA Rocket Will Be Visible Across East Coast This Weekend
It’s a bird. … It’s a plane. … It’s a NASA rocket that should be visible up and down the East Coast this weekend. Dubbed “Stronger Together,” NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia will be launching a 59-foot-tall Electron rocket during a mission scheduled to lift off at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, authorities announced. The rocket will take off from Launch Complex 2 at Virginia Space’s Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport on Wallops Island. There is expected to be a two-hour launch window. University Of Hartford Student Charged With Making 'Concerning" Social Media Post, Police Say
A Connecticut university student has been charged after allegedly making a threatening social media post on YikYak. The incident took place at the University of Hartford around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5, said the Hartford Police. Hartford Police Officers responded to the university after receiving a complaint from UHART school safety officials, said Sgt. Chris Mastroianni, of the Hartford Police. Recall Issued For Brand Of Mushrooms Due To Possible Health Risk
A Brooklyn-based company is recalling Enoki mushrooms that were imported from Korea which may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The FDA announced that H&C Food Inc. is recalling 7.05-ounce Enoki mushrooms that were important from Green Co. and distributed to supermarkets in New York, Maryland, and Virginia. The mushrooms subject to recall were distributed between Saturday, Feb. 15 and Thursday, March 5. According to the FDA, the mushrooms were sold in a clear plastic packaging with a green label, UPC code of 831211204181, and “H&C Food Inc.” on the back of the package. …

Milford Man Threatened To Kill US Deputy Marshal Over Text, Officials Say
A Milford man is facing charges after allegedly sending threatening text messages to a Deputy US Marshal. Hamilton Smith, age 57, is charged with sending threats to harm and kill both a Deputy US Marshal and their family, the US Attorney's Office for the Connecticut District announced on Friday, Jan. 13. The threats started on Tuesday, Jan. 10, and Wednesday, Jan. 11, when Smith allegedly sent numerous threatening text messages to the Deputy US Marshal.
