Fatal Fire: CT Man In 60s Found Inside Burned-Out Home A Connecticut man in his 60s was found dead inside a home following a house fire. The fire took place in Tolland County around 11:30 p.m., Sunday, June 11 on Haney Lane in Vernon. According to Lt. Robert Marra of the Vernon Police, firefighters overhauling the house after the fire was extinguished found the body of a man in his 60s inside the home. Marra said police are waiting for final confirmation from the Connecticut Medical Examiner's Office before releasing the identity of the victim.
