CT Police ID Teen Motorcyclist Killed In Crash
A 19-year-old man from Connecticut has been identified as the motorcyclist who died in a collision with an SUV, authorities said. Aidan Russell, of North Haven, was riding a Suzuki SV650 on Tuesday, July 8, when it collided with a Lexus on South Colony Road near the Interstate 91 entrance in Wallingford, according to police. Russell died at the scene from his injuries, despite emergency crews performing life-saving measures, Wallingford police said. A 41-year-old Connecticut man was killed by a hit-and-run driver and left lying on the roadway as the driver fled. The crash took place in New Haven County around 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 7 at the intersection of Haven Street and Clay Street. Authorities are trying to figure out how a Connecticut motorcyclist flew off of his bike and died after colliding with a pickup truck on I-84 this week officials say. Jose Guillermo Torres, of Hartford, was driving westbound on his 2006 Suzuki motorcycle when he crashed into the back of a 2001 GMC Sierra K1500 pickup truck around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26 near exit 50 on I-84, according to Connecticut State Police. Crash Kills 42-Year-Old In Fairfield County
Police are investigating a crash that killed a 42-year-old in Fairfield County. The crash, between a Suzuki GSR motorcycle and a Toyota Camry, took place around midnight on Sunday, Aug. 22 on Stratford Avenue and East Main Street in Bridgeport. According to Capt. Steven Lougal of the Bridgeport Police, a Suzuki GSR motorcycle collided with a Toyota Camry, causing serve injuries to the motorcyclist, Donald Fountain, who died from his injuries.
