Suspect Nabbed In Shooting Of Loss Prevention Officer At Macy's In CT
A 30-year-old man is accused of shooting a Loss Prevention officer at a Connecticut Macy's. The victim was shot in the abdomen in Hartford County on Friday, Aug. 19, at the Shoppes at Buckland Hills, located at 194 Buckland Hills Drive in Manchester, the Manchester Police Department said. The victim remains hospitalized as of the announcement from police. Authorities said Richard LaPlante, of Windsor, turned himself in to police on the night of Saturday, Aug. 20. CT Man Suspected Of Indecent Exposure Tased At Mall While Fleeing, Police Say
A Connecticut man who was hit with a stun gun at a mall to keep him from fleeing from officers has been arrested after allegedly exposing himself at a nearby bus stop. The Hartford County incident took place in in Manchester around 4:15 p.m., Tuesday, April 12. Joseph Murrell, age 53, of Hartford, was arrested after police responded to a bus stop on Slater Street for an indecent exposure complaint, said Lt. Ryan Shea of the Manchester Police.
