IDs Released For 5 Family Members Killed In Murder-Suicide In Quiet Suburban NY Neighborhood The identities have been released for five family members who were killed in a murder-suicide in a residential Long Island community. The incident happened just before noon on Sunday, Aug. 25 at a residence on a cul-de-sac in Syosset. Nassau County Police say officers who responded to the residence on 76 Wyoming Court for a report of shots fired discovered a man outside the home who "sustained an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound." Man Barricaded In Home Leads To Shelter-In-Place Order On CT Street An armed Connecticut man who barricaded himself inside a home with a family member for more than a day and a half has killed himself, according to police. The New Haven County incident began in Guilford on Wednesday, April 13, when the fire department was called to a home on Durham Road.
