'General Hospital' Legend Anthony Geary Dies: Luke & Laura Wedding Episode Drew 30M Viewers Anthony Geary, the legendary actor best known for his nearly four-decade portrayal of Luke Spencer on ABC's "General Hospital," has died at age 78.  His husband, Claudio Gama, confirmed the news to TV Insider, sharing that Geary died in the Netherlands on Sunday, Dec. 14, due to complications following a scheduled medical procedure.
