A 20-year-old Connecticut man has been charged with the murder of another man found dead in a driveway.
Sahvone Valentine, of Hartford, was arrested Tuesday, Dec. 12, for his involvement in the homicide of Abdul-Jalil Humphrey on Friday, July 14, in New Haven County on Hodge Avenue in Ansonia.
The arrest of Valentine was the result of a multi-agency investigation where a second suspect, Jada Artis, age 17 of Ansonia, was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 3, said Lt. Patrick Lynch of the Ansonia Police.

Duo Beats, Robs 75-Year-Old In His Bridgeport Backyard, Police Say
Two men are accused of beating and robbing a 75-year-old man outside his Fairfield County home.
The incident happened Thursday, Nov. 16, in Bridgeport at a home on East Main Street, according to Bridgeport Police.
Both men approached the victim with their hands in their pockets, motioning that they had a gun, police said.
They allegedly punched the victim and pushed him against a dumpster before stealing his wallet.
The victim suffered a minor head injury in the ordeal.

An armed teenage man wearing a wig and makeup robbed a high-end jewelry store in Fairfield County of $175,000 in merchandise before being caught by police.
The robbery took place in Greenwich at Tiffany & Co. around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28.

A Connecticut man is in custody after allegedly throwing a 65-year-old woman down on a hiking trail sexually assaulting her and taking her purse and cell phone before the victim was able to fight him off.
The incident took place in Hartford County in Manchester on Wednesday, Oct. 4 on the hiking trail near Charter Oak Park.

A Fairfield County man is behind bars after allegedly reporting a kidnapping and armed robbery in the parking lot of a Stop & Shop.
Danbury resident Diego Vizhco, age 38, was charged on Wednesday, Sept. 27, for falsely reporting a robbery on Newtown Road on Sunday, Sept. 10, at the store on Newtown Road.
