New Indian Eatery Focusing On Takeout Opens For Business In Fairfield County The owners of a restaurant specializing in Indian cuisine have opened a brand-new location for takeout and delivery in Fairfield County. Jaipore Xpress began serving customers in the Ridgefield area on Monday, Jan. 24, according to Jeevan Pullan, who co-owns the eatery with Roshan Balan. The two also own Jaipore Royal Indian Cuisine in neighboring Putnam County, in Brewster. Area Resident Seriously Injured In Crash That Caused I-84 Closure Police are asking the public for help with information regarding a 4-vehicle crash that caused life-threatening injuries to one passenger and closed I-84 for hours. The crash took place around 2:15 p.m., Monday, Nov. 8, on I-84 in Danbury, said the Connecticut State Police.
