3 Men Hospitalized In Western Mass Crash ID'd, Police Update Their Conditions
Police have identified the three men who were injured after the truck they were in crashed into a tree in Berkshire County on Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 9.
Anthony Nichols, age 41, Gregory Prince, 54, and Robert O'Bert, 50, all of Pittsfield, had to be cut from the truck after it crashed at 241 South St. in Pittsfield near the intersection of Broad Street just after 3:30 p.m., Pittsfield police said.

Five people will be spending time behind bars after they were busted for various drug trafficking offenses in Western Massachusetts, authorities said.
All five are residents of Pittsfield, authorities said.

A 22-year Western Mass man was killed after allegedly being shot by police after advancing on officers with a knife in his hand, police said.
The incident took place in Berkshire County around 10:10 p.m., Friday, March 25, in Pittsfield, said Andrew McKeever, spokesman for the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office.

Duo Nabbed After Armed Robbery At Subway Restaurant In Western Mass
Two Western Mass residents were nabbed for allegedly robbing a Subway and making off with cash.
Berkshire County residents Patrick Latini, age 25, and Talia Sistrunk, age 23, both of Pittsfield, were arrested on around 6:45 p.m., Tuesday, March 1s for the reported robbery of the Subway at 179 South Street in Pittsfield.
Employees of the restaurant told police that the duo came into the restaurant and demanded cash. After receiving the money, they fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, said Lt. Jeffrey Bradford, of the Pittsfield Police.
