Smash-Grab Pharmacy Attempted Robbery Under Investigation In Darien Police are investigating a smash-and-grab robbery attempt at a pharmacy in Fairfield County in which nothing was taken. The incident took place in Darien around 5:29 a.m., on Monday, Aug. 21 at Griebs Pharmacy at 1021 Post Road. According to Sgt. Dan Skoumbros of the Darien Police, officers responded to the pharmacy on an activated burglary alarm and found the front door smashed open. Know Them? Four Wanted For Fairfield County Rite Aid Robbery, Police Say Four men wearing ski masks and face coverings are on the run after allegedly stealing thousands of pills at a Fairfield County Rite Aid store. The incident took place in Monroe around 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 13 at the Rite Aid Pharmacy located at 508 Monroe Turnpike. The men ordered employees to open the safe where narcotics are stored.
