A Connecticut resident has been identified as one of three people killed in a small plane crash in northern Massachusetts. The Baron Twin-Piston was located at approximately 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14 in a small clearing in the woods within the Leyden Wildlife Management Area in Franklin County, Massachusetts, near the border of the city of Greenfield and the town of Leyden. Western Massachusetts Woman, 36, Killed In Multi-Vehicle Crash
A 36-year-old woman has died from a multi-vehicle crash in Western Massachusetts last week, authorities said. Carmen Henriquez, of Springfield, died in the crash that happened at the intersection of Route 116 and Sunderland Road in Amherst around 8:45 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 19, the Northwest District Attorney's Office said. Initial investigation revealed Henriquez collided with two other vehicles that were going in the opposite direction as her. The impact caused her vehicle to roll over, the office reports. Authorities have identified Hampshire County's first homicide victim this year as 21-year-old Jana Abromowitz, the Northwest District Attorney's Office said. Man Charged With Female Roommate's Stabbing Death In Western Mass
A man from Western Massachusetts has been charged in connection with the stabbing death of his roommate, the Northwest District Attorney's Office said. Hampshire County resident Devin Bryden, age 24, was arrested after police found his 21-year-old female roommate stabbed to death at their apartment on Hatfield Street in Northampton on Sunday, July 10, the DA's Office said. 33-Year-Old Killed After Vehicle Crashes Down In Embankment In Region
Police are continuing to investigate a fatal crash in Western Massachusetts that left a 33-year-old man dead. The man was found around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 28 by a bicyclist passing by the scene of the crash in Hampshire County down a steep embankment in Williamsburg, said Laurie Loisel, director of Communications for the Northwest District Attorney's Office.
